Personal Description:
I live in Exeter and am married with two daughters. Have been teaching/tutoring since 2004. In 2006, completed a Masters degree in Education. Not available for tuition at the moment due to semi-retirement.
Teaching Experience:
Five years teaching English at an Independent school in Exeter at Primary and Secondary level. Teaching part-time at Exeter College - 'A' level English Language. Teaching English as a foreign Language during summer holidays. Now working in a local Secondary school.
Tutoring Approach:
My approach to tutoring is very much based on the needs and learning style(s) of the learner. Targets are negotiated and an action plan agreed. The National Curriculum is taken into account where necessary, particularly at GCSE level.
