Personal Description:

I am 26 y/o post graduate 4th year medical student at University College London. I gained a 1st Class Honours Chemistry degree from Manchester University in 2004 being placed 1st in my year. I subsequently was awarded a Master's Scholarship to study Biochemistry at Leeds University from 2004-05 during which i decided to fulfil my lifetime ambition of becoming a doctor. Previous to this i gained 4 A's in A'level in Chemistry, Biology, Geography and General studies. I am a keen sports man who has played football for both Manchester University and the University of London 1st Men's Team.



Teaching Experience:

1. Currently tutoring 3 UK tutors students in Chemistry (OCR and EDEXCEL boards)
2. Undergraduate academic tutor in chemistry, Manchester University
3. Undergraduate laboratory demonstrator in chemistry, Leeds University
4. Undergraduate medical tutor, UCL



Tutoring Approach:

I am enthusistic, meticulous in my preparation for exams and patient with varying abilities. I like to break subjects down into simple bite-sized portions that follow a systematic, directed, work/revision plan. I request preparation from students before each session - the student should realise that i am not a teacher, i am however someone who can help them understand the subject better.
