Information About Carrie:
Personal Description:
I am a qualified primary teacher (University of Exeter) and have many years of experience working with children of all ages. I have previously tutored English to GCSE level, with success.
I am a kind, approachable person and like to encourage children to do their best to reach their own potential.
Teaching Experience:
Reception, Year 1, Year 2, Year 5 and Year 6. Also some experience of Y3/4.
Tutoring Approach:
I like to encourage children to strive to their own personal potential, while working with them to address areas they feel less confident in, personalising their learning.
I like to make sessions as interactive as possible, and do not like to rely upon worksheets. I will occasionally make use of online tools or paper-based activities.
