Information About Miriam:

Personal Description:

I am a young American with a BA in English, an MA in Creative Writing and an MA in Publishing. I prefer to work out of a public area, such as a coffee shop, school, library or online.

Teaching Experience:

I have been a teaching assistant for undergrad psychology courses in the US, have experience running magazines and in free lance editing, writing and art works. I have also interned with a museum and worked with my local special Olympics group.

Tutoring Approach:

I prefer to see where a student is and to help them by guiding them forward. I will not do the work for them, but will gladly edit and walk them through what needs to be altered, why it matters and how they can get the most out of their work and skills. I will explain things in a variety of ways to ensure the student understands completely.
