Personal Description:
Hi! My name's Tamsin, I'm from Cambridge, England. My interests include Mandarin Chinese (I've been learning since 2005) and cooking. I also enjoy reading literature and the news.
I'm a friendly, patient teacher who works hard for students.
Teaching Experience:
I am a qualified TEFL teacher, holding an MA in linguistics and TESOL as well as a CELTA. I have been teaching English since 2008 and have taught English at various language schools in Cambridge. I also have a lot of experience of teaching English on a one-to-one basis. I'm particularly experienced in teaching academic English, such as preparation for IELTS.
Tutoring Approach:
Following consideration of a student's individual needs, I design exercises and activities for each student. The student can be involved in the tailoring of the course if they choose. I always try to keep students active in the learning process as this will help them to learn faster.
I will do everything I can to help you to improve your English.
