Personal Description:
I am a sociology graduate from university of Trento. I am Italian native speaker and a fluent speaker of English and French. I am interested in teaching Italian language to the speakers of English language.
Teaching Experience:
Although I have no formal education in teaching, I have a basic understanding of teaching languages as I have done several "language exchanges" while my stay in England. In addition, I have also conducted Italian conversation classes. Regarding my competence in Italian language, it is sufficient to mention that I have done all my formal education (sociology graduate and Master in Tourism Management) in Italian.
Tutoring Approach:
I believe that the best way to learn a language is by conversing in the language with a native speaker, as it is difficult to get a grip on the language just by learning the grammar of the language. My approach to teaching Italian consists of holding a conversation over any current topic, talking about daily life situations and by the means of student presentations. I also find watching and analysing (by explaining linguistic and cultural points) Italian movies, an effective means of teaching Italian language.
