Personal Description:
I am currently a teaching assistant in Ysgol Gymraeg Melin Gruffydd in Whitchurch, Cardiff. I am planning to study for a PGCE next year and therefore am grateful for all the experience I am able to gain. I am currently only available for the summer holidays but might be willing to continue into term time depending on availability. I am a fluent welsh speaker and have a degree in Psychology. I am 22 years old.
Teaching Experience:
I have been working as a teaching assistant since last september and enjoy it so much that i have decided to continue working in the school come september. My time is divided between the reception classes, and the year 1 and 2 classes. Also, I have been working with the SENCO team, and this is where I have gained a lot of my teaching experience. I work with children in small groups or in a one-to-one basis and we mainly work on reading and spelling.
Tutoring Approach:
I have a very enthusiastic and friendly approach to tutoring. I always stay positive and am very patient and persistent.
