Information About Richard:


Personal Description:

I am a 3rd year medical student looking to tutor during the summer i have achieved top grades at A level and GCSE and attend one of the top medical schools in the country (Imperial College London). I enjoy helping people and wanted to do something that would be beneficial to others over the summer months. I get along with most people and outside of medicine enjoy playing squash and taking breaks with my girlfriend across Europe.



Teaching Experience:

I am enrolled in a tutoring program at university designed to help children from less fortunate backgrounds enter medical school and was a mentor at my high school where i helped the lower years with there studies.



Tutoring Approach:

My approach is to create a rapport with my pupil were there can be a comfortable exchange of ideas and concerns where i can truly assess there level and understanding. Then expanding upon the knowledge already in place and building up their knowledge and hopefully inspiring them to continue beyond our sessions and become interested in science. Small projects can be designed depending on what is required.

Qualifications:

  • Two completed years at Imperial College London Studying medicine Year two completed with a Merit (highest grage achievable in year two)
  • A levels, 4A's at A2 Biology, Chemistry, Maths, Physics
  • AS levels 1A Further Maths
  • GCSE 4A*'s Science, Maths, History 3A's English, Design
