Personal Description:
I am an experienced teacher, an enthusiastic tutor and also mum to my 2 daughters aged 9 and 7. I live in Poole, Dorset, and at present only tutor from home as I prefer to use a wide range of resources, including listening materials and the Internet in my teaching
Teaching Experience:
I taught in secondary schools for 7 years in Cumbria and the London area before moving to Poole. Since having my children, I have tutored extensively in French and German up to A' level standard and in English up to GCSE. My students have varied considerably from adults wishing to improve their spoken French to students aiming for top grades in order to fulfil their university entrance requirements.
Tutoring Approach:
I thoroughly enjoy tutoring as it allows me an opportunity to address the individual needs of my students. I have a calm, patient but motivating manner and am totally flexible in my approach.
