Information About Richard:
Personal Description:
Teacher of GCSE science/maths and A level maths/physics I am married with three children.My working times are weekdays and evenings and weekend mornings. I will travel to the tutee.
Teaching Experience:
I have 16 years teaching experience in Leeds schools, teaching GCSE science, A level maths and A level physics. I have a Hons degree in theoretical physics and a PGCE in maths/physics. I also have an HNC in chemistry. Qualifications, excellent ofsted reports and testimonials available. My students include people taking further education courses, access courses, first year undergraduates of engineering etc. I have been tutoring for seven years.
Tutoring Approach:
I have a patient and relaxed approach but I do have high expectations. I continuously motivate and encourage my students to do their best, and when required modify my approach to suit the needs of the individual. I would expect students to complete homeworks and to be on top of the last lesson and ready for the next. I have had some very good results at GCSE and some excellent A level results.
