Personal Description:

I have been involved in music for many years and have a wide experience of music from playing casually to playing in orchestras. I teach Guitar, Flute, Bass, composition and theory and I understand the student's experience and try to teach only what is needed.

Teaching Experience:

I have quite a lot of experience of teaching formally, but have many years experience of informal tuition.

Tutoring Approach:

my approach to teaching music is based on what the student needs and not to a formula. I intend to culture the talent a student possesses and can de-school orthodox 'classical' training, free up performance and realise the ability to improvise.
