Information About Thomas:
Personal Description:
I am a final year international relations student at the univesity of sussex, with an average of 70 for the first two years. During my time at sussex i have taken courses in development studies, history, politics, spanish and geography but also have a background from A-level in math, physics and economics.
Teaching Experience:
I have no official teaching experience, but have an informal knowledge of teaching as my mother and brother are physics and maths teachers respectively, as well as helping my cousins with GCSE and A level revision session. I feel as though i have picked up some skills beneficial to tutoring through discussions with my family as well as from teaching friends to snowboard whilst on holiday and when friends visited me in a French ski resort when i lived there.
Tutoring Approach:
My approach to tutoring is centered around a solid understanding of the syllabus and building confidence by starting with concepts central to the course and then building on this by focusing on the areas that the tutee feels as though they would most like to work on together.
