Information About Serena:
Personal Description:
I'm Serena and I've been teaching privately for approx 17 years. I live in Corfe Mullen and will come to you if you live within a 20 mile radius of Wimborne or you can come to me. I now also teach via webcam/Skype so can teach you regardless of where you live.
Teaching Experience:
I teach spoken english only - I can help reduce accents, explain how english sounds are made and can help with speaking and listening parts of the SATS tests at schools and with the spoken english part of GCSE english.
I am a qualified elocution teacher and have a CRB certificate.
I teach form 6 am - 8 pm 7 days a week.
I am not a teacher of English as an additional language.
Tutoring Approach:
I explain how sounds are made and then we use voice exercise, poetry, prose etc to practice. I'll help with accents, confidence, breathing, how to obtain expressive speech etc.
