Personal Description:

Hi, my name's Lynsey and I am a recent graduate from Napier University here in Edinburgh. I studied Business Management and German for four years and successfully passed my honours only this month! I have been studying German since Primary School and found that with the right teacher learning a second language can be fun and prove a great tool for the future. During my studies I studied in German, I went to a univeristy in Munich for a semester which gave me the opportunity to further my German.

I am an enthusiatic individual with a passion for learning and enjoying life in general. I am outgoing and hardworking and would like the opportunity to enable others to experience just what learning a second language can do for you.

Teaching Experience:

Unfortunately as I am fresh out of University this month I do not have any experience of hands on teaching but that is what I am looking to gain from this tutoring experience. As I stated above I am very hard working and willing to learn. I believe that I pick things up really fast and am very easy to get on with.

Tutoring Approach:

My approach to tutoring will be based around conversations, role plays etc. I believe that the best way to learn a language is to speak it and to immerse yourself within the language. Anyone can pick up a book and say " I am learning a new language" but the skills learnt when conversing within the second language stand each of us in a better position.
