Personal Description:
I am a friendly, qualified and experienced tutor who is available for work in the South East London area, or to give online lessons via Skype. I am a UK National and have worked in the UK, South America and Australia with students of many different nationalities, abilities and motivations. I am happy to teach at any age or level and I believe that learning English is valuable and also interesting.
Teaching Experience:
I have been teaching and tutoring English as a foreign language for over 6 years, both in the UK and abroad. I have experience working with a wide range of ages and levels, from children to business professionals. I am also able to help with preparation for Cambridge exams, IELTS or other examinations. I hold a CELTA qualification as well as a degree and an MA.
Tutoring Approach:
I believe that the personal attention tutoring allows means that the student and teacher are able to negotiate the needs, aims and pace of classes. It is vital that the tutor is patience, friendly and has a sense of humour, as well as making the student work hard!
