Personal Description:
Graduate from University of Edinburgh in MA (hons) Mathematics & Philosophy & Masters (MSc). Currently PhD candidate.
32 years of age.
Teaching Experience:
12 years as private tutor in Mathematics.
Tutor at University of Edinburgh in 2008 to date in computational composition & music.
Tutoring Approach:
Friendly & relaxed, putting pupils at ease.
Strong focus on building confidence and enthusiasm for the subject.
Thorough explanation of course material and importance placed on full understanding in order to improve problem solving etc.
I help my pupils to achieve their personal potential, with often dramatic results arising from increase in confidence and understanding.
Encourage an initial trial lesson to ensure that pupil and parents feel comfortable.
I am currently not giving any more piano lessons at the moment, thanks!
