Personal Description:
I'm a PhD student in Business Studies at Teesside University. I have been a lecturer and tutor for more 10 years and have been working with pupils and students of all age ranges. My native language is Vietnamese but I have been teaching in English for 7 years. I did both my Masters study and now a PhD in the UK.

Teaching Experience:

I have been a tutor since 2003 and been a lecturer since 2007. I have taught children, university students, and working adults in subjects like English (grammar, conversation, IELTS), Business related subjects (Human Resources Management, Management, Strategic Management, Business Communication, E-Marketing, International Business), and Personal Development and Study Skills.

Tutoring Approach:

My tutoring style is encouraging but discipline. I will be very patient with students but also demand students to try harder and exceed their limits. In order to achieve improvement, the study is not only to be interesting but also motivating enough for students to realise their potential and reach the set goals.

Personal Description:
I am a recent graduate of Leeds University and an ongoing postgraduate student at Exeter University. Having completed my GCSE'S/ A levels only a short while ago, I am eager to share knowledge/strategies on gaining high grades.

I am keen to stay in Education and I hope to go onto further study at a later stage.

I have a strong interest in the humanities, having studied British Politics, many different aspects of history, Critical theory from a Post Modernist and Analytical/Enlightenment perspective as well as other important philosophical and sociological phenomena. I feel like I can be of real value to any aspiring student in the humanities.

Education is an important part of life, possibly the most crucial component, I will derive great satisfaction from helping people to succeed in their chosen fields and areas. I am sure that through hard work, understanding and clear planning, I can move students towards achieving their desired grade.

I look forward to hearing from potential tutees.

Alex

Teaching Experience:

I have been working in Education professionally for the last 6 or 7 months, predominately as a teaching assistant but also helping struggling students.

During my time, at University I was involved with a charity, which organised English lessons to refugees, this has provided me with a foundation , for further work in Education.

At the moment I am also working towards a Masters and I hope to have this completed before the end of the year. This is enabling me to develop a theoretical approach to Educational issues and allowing to enhance my teaching methodology.

I can provide academic and Educational references upon request.

Tutoring Approach:

I hoping to adopt a flexible, open approach whereby I can be responsive to the needs and requirements of individual students. I am happy to tailor the lessons on a case by case basis.

I am very aware of the stress and anxiety that exams, coursework can cause, I am happy to work closely with students to alleviate any concerns they may have in periods which conflate with any of the above.

Personal Description:
I'm German with a (German) M.A. in English, French and Russian. I've been living in the UK since 2002. I've always wanted to become a teacher and started studying on a teacher training course for languages in Germany. When I moved to the UK, I worked in publishing and marketing for German and French companies and taught German and French in the evenings. Since the birth of my son in 2006, I've been working as a self-employed tutor and translator for German and French. My pupils so far range from 5-year-olds to 75-year-olds.

Teaching Experience:

Since the age of 20, I've been teaching languages. I started supplementing my income teaching English and French in Germany while I was a student. When I moved to the UK in 2002, I taught mainly German and French as a private tutor. I've always taught different age groups, i.e. pupils who need language tuition for school, professionals who need a language for work as well as people who just want to learn a language to go on holiday. In the last few years, due to an increasing demand for business German, I have started to move more and more into the corporate environment. I have taught classes in businesses in the Midlands and clients have included/ still include Flybe, KPMG, BMW, WEBASTO, SAF Holland, B. Mason and others.

"We are a subsidiary of a large German group and have used tuition services provided by Wenke Langhof-Gold for over 2 years. We are extremely satisfied with the standard and style of tuition she provides. We find she has a good technical knowledge of grammar but importantly she has the teaching skills (and patience) to be able to put this across at any level. She is able to focus the teaching to any particular situation we require e.g. upcoming board meetings or more casual inter-action with our German counterparts. She has a good sense of humour which helps make the learning process that more enjoyable. We would not hesitate to recommend her to you." (B. Mason, Wieland Group, Birmingham)

Tutoring Approach:

Over the years I have accumulated a vast amount of teaching materials and am constantly adding to the collection. I tend to design lessons for each pupil individually, using course books, the internet, CDs, magazines, books etc. Every pupil is different and struggles with different aspects of language learning. The content of the lessons will very much depend on the company's area of expertise and the field a particular pupil might be in. A CEO or sales director's needs will differ significantly from a welder's or technician's. Above all, lessons need to be fun, as you'll be much better motivated to learn if you're enjoying yourself. The daily business life is stressful and learning a language is not an easy task at the best of times. There is no such thing as learning a language quickly and the more time you spend in a German-speaking country the quicker your progress. Having said that, anyone can get a basic understanding of the language or become confident at ordering in a restaurant or booking a hotel room.

Personal Description:
After leaving school, I studied at Nottingham University for a BA in Music, then for a MA in Theology from the London School of Theology. I have recently completed a research masters and am studying for a PhD. As well as studying, I work in a local secondary school running a mentoring program for students with difficult circumstances. My own interests are principally in theology, philosophy and politics, but also the arts, culture and social work. I am married, have one child, and am a keen football fan (Manchester United).

Teaching Experience:

I have taught Religious Studies at Secondary School and I have also worked as a freelance tutor at various points over the last few years for students studying Music, English, History, Philosophy and Ethics, at a range of levels.

I have worked with extremely bright students but also have a lot of experience of working with students with special educational needs.

Tutoring Approach:

Education is about more than being able to pass exams, although this is obviously important! I have worked hard for my qualifications and belive in disciplined, productive study; however for some students getting the highest possible grade is not necessarily the most important thing. Each person is an individual with different strengths and weaknesses, so I try to structure how I teach around individual needs and goals. When teaching I also believe that giving people self confidence, an ability to think critically and an enjoyment of the subject is an important part of helping them to improve.

Personal Description:
I am a professional actor and graduate from the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, and have been working in the private tuition industry for over seven years for various agencies, most prominently The Tutors Group. Before drama school I worked as a Primary School teaching assistant and drama teacher for two years, after graduating from King's College London with a 2:1 in my BA (Hons) English Literature & Language degree. I went straight to university from Norwich High School for Girls in Norfolk. So I have travelled all the way across England in my pursuit of study! I always wanted to tutor because I knew how I worked for all my GCSEs, A-Levels and my BA, and I was fed up with the media claiming exams were getting easier for kids: teenagers today work super hard, as I did! Tutoring older students also provided a lovely contrast to my Primary School teaching. I am also on the Directory certified teachers for LAMDA examinations.

Teaching Experience:

Dog Kennel Hill Primary School
Teaching Assistant and Special Needs Support
Oct 2008 - Present

During the morning session, I am currently working in a Year One class in this south London school and thriving on aiding the children specifically with their literacy, reading and speaking skills as well as exploring numeracy work.
I lead certain lessons including story time and circle time.
I support key groups of children within the class and am able to use my initiative to plan, deliver and assess their learning in order to encourage progression.
I have vast experience in creating my own resources using ICT, and creating artistic displays to proudly exhibit the children's work.
I have taken courses in Early Literacy Support, encouraging creative and inclusive teaching especially for children with English as an additional language and complex special needs children. I also have training in "Letters and Sounds" Phonics, and "A First Workshop on Autism".
During the afternoon session, I support a child in Year Two with Autism. I plan and prepare all his lessons, working towards targets which I and the class teacher have set for him; these include phonics, counting and social skills. I use music as a reward system for the boy, and his singing has greatly improved his speech quality and communication skills.
I have extensive training in Autistic Spectrum Conditions, undertaken with Southwark, covering various aspects including history, sensory integration and behavioural management.
I work with various children with complex special needs within school, including children with Autism, Cerebral Palsy and Galactosemia, and have worked closely with speech and language therapists and learning mentors.
I offer one to one support outside of lesson time in the form of music lessons for special needs children; I prepare and provide my own resources and find singing with my students extremely rewarding.
I am in the process of setting up an after-school drama club for Key Stage One students at the school, having directed the infant school Christmas play this and last year.
I have also spent time in Key Stage Two classrooms, focussing on aiding older children with their literacy skills: I particularly enjoyed aiding Year Six students in exploring literary themes and using appropriate critical vocabulary when studying children's literature.

Stage Coach Theatre Arts
Early Years and Drama Teacher
Jan 2009 - Present
I am currently working in the Beckenham Junction branch of Stage Coach: using games and prepared resources, I teach my Early Stages children elementary levels of dance, drama and singing, allowing them to develop their confidence levels both on and off the stage. I have written and directed several productions for the children to perform over the year, showcasing their talents to their proud parents.
Since September I have taken on the role of drama teacher for the elder children aged six to sixteen. Through games, improvisation and text work, my students are encouraged to enjoy and improve their passion and talent for theatre in an open and safe environment.

The Tutors Group
Private Tutor
Sep 2008 - Present
In contrast to my primary school teaching experience, my private tutoring allows me to help young people of an older age and greater intellectual development further their learning.
I teach English Literature and Language, History, Theatre Studies and Classical Studies, from Primary, to GCSE and A-Level, Degree level and beyond.
I aid my students in improving their essay structure, spelling and grammar and discussing key thematic and conceptual elements of their required texts.
I plan and prepare lessons and constantly assess students, ensuring they receive high quality tutorage.

Classroom Teachers
Teaching Assistant
Sep 2008 - Oct 2008
I received thoroughly positive feedback from the schools in which I temporarily taught in the weeks preceding my permanent employment at Dog Kennel Hill; colleagues reported me as reliable, enthusiastic and hard-working, and possessing excellent interaction skills with the children themselves.
I gained vast experience with nursery and reception children, thriving on working with early years.

Tutoring Approach:

I have worked as a private tutor for various agencies and also independently, leading my students through 11 plus, 13 plus, GCSE, A Level, Degree level and beyond. I teach English Literature & Language, Drama & Theatre Studies, History and Classics. I also have plenty of experience in working with much younger students (see my CV for details of my classroom and teaching assistant experience) with English as an additional language. I am a confident and enthusiastic individual, with an acute passion for teaching, and have been working with the Tutors Group for over 7 years now. I have worked as a teaching assistant in an Outstanding inner-city primary school, and before training at drama school was planning to take a post-graduate course in primary school teaching, a desire much encouraged by my class teacher and head of school. I have just graduated from my MA in acting at one of the most prolific drama schools in the country (Bristol Old Vic Theatre School); as an experienced dramatic performer and director, I enjoy effectively using these skills to aid children in their learning, leading to a warm, encouraging and happy learning atmosphere. I rapidly and easily create positive, personal relationships with colleagues and children, and believe education should be a creative and inclusive experience for all.

Personal Description:
I am a young and enthusiastic private tutor with more than 5 years' experience, specializing in English Literature. I am familiar with a wide range of literature, including many popular school set texts. I welcome tuition requests from students at all levels and of all ages.

I hold a First Class BA degree in English as well as an MA in Victorian Studies with Distinction, both from the University of Exeter. I am also in my final year of a PhD in Victorian Literature at the University of London.

Teaching Experience:

I have taught a range of ages and abilities in English Literature, both in the UK and the US. I have tutored children learning to read, primary school children, secondary school students (KS3, GCSE and A level), university students (at BA and MA level), and adult learners (including those studying an online course and those studying with the Open University).

Two years ago I also began giving tuition on English grammar and punctuation to adult learners wishing to improve their business communication skills.

I also have experience of helping teach primary school children to read, write, and improve their comprehension skills.

Tutoring Approach:

My approach is tailored to each individual students according to their needs, following a consideration of their strengths and weaknesses in the course of the first two sessions. This enables me to teach and enthuse each student. When students are shown different ways of looking at a text, and ways in which it relates to their own lives, literature becomes much more accessible, encouraging them to study and achieve better academic grades.

Extra tutoring gives students individual attention beyond the scope of the classroom, and offers an opportunity to look at set texts in more detail, and at the right pace.

Improving students' confidence is central to my approach to tutoring. With individually tailored tutoring, determination to succeed, and improved confidence, my students are able to achieve excellent grades and reach their full potential.

I am a fully qualified, professional and experienced teacher and tutor of Maths and Physics - to Key Stage 2, Key Stage 3, GSCE, AS / A2 - Level, as well as considerable experience as an examiner. I have taught and prepared students for medical school and successful Oxford and Cambridge entrance.
I offer tuition from my home in Whitton.
I will be happy to refund any referral charge levied by UK Tutors if you book up and pre - pay for 2 lessons.

Teaching Experience:

With 25 + years of classroom teaching and tutoring across the full ability range from 8 years old to Adult, I am well aware of the common ( as well as the not so common ) misconceptions held by students of Physics and the difficult areas of Maths.

Over the last year I have developed my resources so that I can offer the same top quality tuition ONLINE to students anywhere in the UK and abroad as I can to face - to - face students.

Have you considered ONLINE tuition in Maths or Physics ? You might be pleasantly surprised. The technology these days enables us to have a learning experience which is just as effective as having your own, personal, tutor in a face - to - face meeting. You might like to try a free preliminary meeting online. It's free, so you have nothing to pay, nothing to lose. It just takes 30 minutes of your time.
What I do is to re - create, as closely as possible, the same learning experience as in a face - to - face meeting.

With my current online students (GCSE Maths) after some initial trepidation and months of preparation, I find it's easy to develop the same working relationship with parent and student - as I do in face - to - face, something I was sceptical about - at first, but not any more.

We use Skype for conversation. It's just like talking to parents and student around the same kitchen table! I can still share my qualifications, my certificates, my CRB / DBS, my references, and discuss the student's educational needs, just as I do face - to - face.

We also use and share an interactive online whiteboard, just like a sheet of paper between us, and of course screen - sharing technology to bring our tuition notes to the home of the student.
The student does not have to download anything to his / her computer (just Skype for free).
I use a graphics tablet and stylus to write on the whiteboard, and the student can write on it too.
We try to make the online learning experience and working relationship as similar as possible to the face - to - face experience and relationship.
It is an excellent option when travel distance is a problem OR if you would like sessions that are shorter than an hour.
Please get in touch by email or phone in the first instance.
If I'm unable to take your call please leave a short message and number and I'll return your call promptly.

Tutoring Approach:

By discussion with the student I establish the needs of the student.
I collaborate with the student to devise teaching and learning strategies to suit the individual.

I offer top quality tuition - friendly, patient and reliable - to meet the needs of the individual student who wants to improve her / his grades and is prepared to work hard. Whether the student needs help with homework, coursework guidance, specific topics, revision strategies, or exam technique and practice at past exam papers, etc. . . help is available, and the student and parents WILL see improvement.

I am available for tuition during the day as well as after school.

I am based in Whitton, Twickenham. I offer tuition in my own home OR online.

Please discuss your tuition needs with me.

If you would like further details or to discuss your individual learning needs or to arrange a free consultation meeting please contact me.

Thank you for taking the time to read my advert.

Michael.

Personal Description:
A highly energetic and enthusiastic individual, specializing in teaching Biology,Chemistry,Physics, Mathematics and IELTs.I am a friendly person and a professional tutor. By qualification, I am a Doctor of Pharmacy and also hold an M Phil degree in Pharmaceutics. i have also got an overall score of 8 bands in IELTs which demonstrates my strong communication skills. My tutoring experience has made me patient and analytical, so, I always adapt the most suitable teaching approach which is individualized based on a student`s personality, mental caliber and his attitude towards learning. In addition to this, I have myself got distinctions throughout my academic career.

What makes me passionate about teaching is the fact that I have always been rejoiced by the thought of making a positive contribution to other people`s lives, and teaching young students, by far, is the most effective way of doing so. I am deeply inspired by my primary school math teacher whose incredible teaching skills transformed me into a bright and hardworking student from a very mediocre and average one. It was the time when I realized that incorporating social skills successfully into the routine methods of teaching can make learning far more interesting and easy.

I customize my teaching style according to the learning needs and mental caliber of the student. Generally, I start a new lesson by giving the student a detailed concept of the scientific topic. Later on, I elaborate the general and specific details of the topic with the help of examples. Afterwards, I put forth similar problems in front of the student to solve by himself, in order to assess his understanding of the topic. I also share with my students all the possible questions and different forms of a question that they might come across in the examination out of a selected topic. Moreover, I also give them examination techniques to solve such problems effectively.

Teaching Experience:

9 years of teaching experience of science subjects(Physics, Chemistry, Biology), English and Math to the students of KS2, KS3, GCSE and A levels.I started my teaching career in 2004 with A-Level and GCSE teaching. In 2008, when I completed my Pharmacy Degree, I joined professional bodies as a teacher. I have also been tutoring IELTs for the last two years.

Personal Description:
Hi, I'm Olivia. I have a first class degree in English from University College London (the best English department in the country) and a distinction-level masters in Literature from Birkbeck University. My degrees have given me experience of working at a high academic level, and I have adopted skills such as research, essay writing, essay formatting, effective revision and creative writing. I can show how simple it is to improve essays or homework by writing good introductions and conclusions, using literary critics and quotations, and analysing prose or poetry. UCL is the only university still providing one-on-one tuition, and after having had a personal tutor for three years as part of my degree, I can apply what they have taught me to my tutoring: looking at past essays to see how they can be improved, practising essay structure and enhancing the grammar and style of writing. Help with computer literacy such as writing in Word documents and blogging can also be provided.

I am also available to teach English as a foreign language, whether for school, exams or for personal improvement. Lessons could be planned and work on grammar and vocabulary or be structured to improve conversation, whatever is most needed. I have received pronunciation (a standard English accent) and can help to improve spoken English.

I can tutor up to degree level, and am happy to work with primary or secondary school pupils.

I am currently studying Law at City University and am flexible with tutoring hours.

I can show a CRB check and references on request.

Teaching Experience:

I have a range of experience teaching all age groups. In 2010 I travelled to Cambodia for a month to teach English language at a charity school in Phnom Penh and my pupils ranged form nursery age to adults.

I have also worked three summers full-time in an English language school where I had full responsibility of children and teenagers. As well as helping the students to improve their English, we supervised them on day trips. My employer praised me for often being chosen as 'best activity leader' on the students' feedback forms.

Last year I took part in an outreach programme at my university which involved teaching human rights and activism at a London sixth form college on behalf of Amnesty International. We had a series of lessons on different aspects of human rights abuse and campaigning which led up to a fundraiser raising money for Amnesty.

I have been a personal tutor for over a year and my students have found me engaging, knowledgeable and helpful even outside of tutoring hours.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe that a gradual build-up of confidence is integral to learning literacy skills. Learning skills one by one, such as editing or memorising, makes the tasks seem simple, yet leads up to a large and complex understanding of how to do well at English. Working at the student's own speed is important, in order that they grasp one aspect of writing before tackling another. My approach is to find the weak areas in a student's studying and work on these, without making any task seem too daunting. Exam technique and the knack of writing what an examiner is looking for are also main objectives.

I have always been told that I am a natural with children and at teaching. I would love to help you by passing on what I have learned during my education.

Personal Description:
An enthusiastic and dynamic multilingual tutor with a variety of teaching experiences at all levels in three different countries (France, Romania, England).

Over 8 years of experience as a qualified multilingual teacher/proofreader/translator in the study of French and English language.

Teaching Experience:

8 years of private tuition (French/ English) to children and adults in Romania, France and England;
5 years teaching and tutoring French and English in Romania
3 years of tutoring in France

This total immersion in a French environment with native speakers hugely contributed to my understanding of the French culture and behaviour, as well as their way of addressing and solving matters.

Tutoring Approach:

As a tutor, I consider the student's progress even after a few lessons to be the most important aim and reason for my work.

The pleasure I take in teaching foreign languages comes especially from my wish to instill into my students a love for the beauty and mystery of a new linguistic field and new semantic world. One of my biggest contentments is to share my knowledge and interest with them and then acknowledge their progress in this domain. My purpose is not only to work with passion but also to enable my students to enlarge their horizons so they are able to quickly compare, assimilate and develop their swiftness when communicating in a foreign language.

In other words, I target with priority:

-the valorization of the student's potential,
-the diversity of the amount of information that each student assimilates
-the enthusiasm and the interactive atmosphere during the lessons

I find that the level at which each student begins with is not important as long as there is a visible progress between the start and the finish of the tuition.

The basis of my lessons consists of the notions which everyone needs in order to know a foreign language, aspects related to the cultural and the real life and the attention on the typical rules of the foreign language.

With delight and interest I concentrate on the efficient use of a variety of media (songs, short films, films, books, newspaper articles, literature) which could animate the lessons.

My eagerness and determination to learn and teach foreign languages (French, English and Italian) developed my interest in analyzing, comparing and synthesizing information as well as enabling me to discover various methods of teaching a considerable amount of knowledge. Through assiduity and responsibility I managed to find the path towards mastering these foreign languages and teaching them with enthusiasm.

Foreign languages are a source of mystery, a mix of rules and originality, a mine of meanings and linguistic surprises, a challenge. I've always found them a very absorbing and fulfilling but sometimes frustratingly vast field which attracts and challenges to a thorough study and wider analysis.

I learned that paying close attention to quality of all my work and grasping opportunities to learn new skills must be prioritized by professional workers.

1) "The first thing that struck me (as an American native speaker) is the remarkable fluency of her oral and written French, which is of a very high academic calibre.
I appreciated her openness and intellectual acuity. In short, it was truly a pleasure to have her as a tutor.
I was also impressed by her discretion, politeness and ability to work with her students and encourage them to progress and love French as one of the most beautiful language in this world."
Jessica G. 24 years old

2) "I find Giorgiana's teaching method easy to follow, however thorough. She very well manages to alternate my two languages (English and Romanian) and make references to the similarities between my languages and French. This helps me understand better because she can then refer to a rule in a language that also applies in French and I can use that to remember the French rule better. After she shows me something, she always ensures that I have taken in the lesson and have listened carefully, testing me on what she has just taught me. To consolidate the learning, she regularly gives me work to complete before our next lesson. Thanks to Giorgiana's tuition, I am now ahead of my class and my teacher is very impressed!"
Maria R., 12 years old student.

3) "I noticed she was a very intelligent person, motivated, with genuine working aptitudes, treating the teaching profession with the maximum of responsibility and seriousness. She belongs to that category of people with a high spirit of undertaking interesting and useful methods, updated in her domain and in other fields as well.
She really has pedagogical tact, knows how to adapt to the public and catch its attention through a mix of gentleness, patience and amiability."

Personal Description:
I am a Chinese and have been in the UK for 3 years. I did Maths and Further Maths on A-Level and now I am also doing Maths in the University of Exeter. You can see that I have a very strong maths skill. I also passed IELTS which is an examination for foreigners who study in the uk and it means that it should not be a big problem to communicate with you in English. My native language is Mandarin Chinese which is used by Chinese who comes from Mainland China and I speak Chinese fluently without any accents. It means my spoken Chinese is like the English who present news on BBC.

Teaching Experience:

I do have some formal teaching experience. This summer, I did a part-time job as a teacher who taught Chinese students English in my hometown. Also, I did quite well in A-levels as I always helped many of my classmates who were stuck on a question and explained solutions to them.

Tutoring Approach:

For maths, I always recommend students to do loads of questions as they can and this is what my A-level maths teachers recommend to us. I stick to this approach and did quite good on Maths. For Chinese, we do not have to do questions and to solve them. I will do the way just like what I did on English, starting from Elementary, very basic things, and watching some videoes in Chinese and explaining some Chinese Cultures and this is what my English teacher told me, if you would like to learn a language well, starting from its culture.

I am a 23 year old Mathematics Graduate from Heriot Watt University in Edinburgh, i am passionate about maths. I have a First Class Honours Degree.

Teaching Experience:

I do not have any teaching qualifications, however i have helped friends and family with their studies.

Tutoring Approach:

I feel that most students aren't taught to understand maths in the early years of their life and therefore think of it as a useless subject. Even i didn't like maths when i was younger and only begun to interest me when i reached university level.

I believe that passing the exams is important however a good understanding and background of the subject is by far a better approach to getting a good grade rather than repetitively grinding through question after question until you remember the method rather than understand the process.

Personal Description:
I am a self employed full time artist, and mother of three teenaged children. I make art in various mediums including sculpture in bronze, clay, forged metal and found materials, and drawings and collage work on paper and board. I work to commission and take part in gallery shows.

Teaching Experience:

I have led and taken part in many art based workshops in various primary and secondary schools, working closely with the students making projects like willow and papier-mâché structures, multiple large outdoor living willow sculptures, collage, printing, clay, and drawing actvities. I've led workshops at various music and arts festivals, including Wychwood festival, Greenbelt festival and Cheltenham Jazz festival, in graffiti techniques, willow structures, lantern making and flag making. I have also done community mosaic projects with primary school children from my local school.

Tutoring Approach:

Art is my passion, and I think one on one tutoring is a great way to support and teach the subject outside school, on a personally taliored basis. From younger children who want to get stuck in and try new things, to older children who would like support for their own ideas, including gcse or a level support, I can offer an encouraging, relaxed, and creatively rich environment. I can help with practical techniques, ideas, coursework and gaps in schoolwork, as well as self esteem and confidence in the subject. I have experience and enthusiasm for all kinds of children and young people, and I can find ways to encourage and improve their enjoyment and success in this subject, whatever their confidence and ability levels. I also have experience with children experiencing mental, emotional and physical difficulties, and am happy to teach in my own home or the home of the student, if that was preferable.
