I am a working actor and a Graduate of the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. Before going to drama school I went to The University of Nottingham where I achieved a first class degree in English Language and Literature. I am self-motivated, enthusiastic and passionate about Drama and English.

I studied English Literature at Edinburgh University, graduating with a First Class Masters in 1999, before going on to train as an actor at the prestigious London Academy of Dramatic Art (LAMDA) in 2001. Since graduating, I have worked extensively as an actor in theatre, television and radio and since 2007 I have worked very closely with acclaimed theatre company The Factory as an associate producer and director as well as an actor. I was born in Israel in 1986. I grew up in the outskirts of Tel- Aviv and lived in Tel-Aviv most of my adulthood. Since I'm a University student, I prefer conducting online classes the most where it can suit my lecture/tutorial schedule the best ! I'm a very bubbly and cheerful person, so studying won't all just be books and papers, chit chats will be coming in the full package as well ! Just remember, being 'gifted' or not doesn't matter ! Studies all honestly revolve around your effort and originality to it ! If 'gifted' people can memorize/learn content easily on their second try, I'll just do it on my fifth try then. Hello! I'm Alexis, your approachable, results-focused tutor for English and Drama. I'm friendly and easy to talk to, with a quick, light-hearted sense of humour that remains respectful.
