Personal Description:
I am Spanish native speaker, friendly and approachable person who loves teaching and find it very rewarding. Having learnt other languages I can identify myself with the students I teach.

Teaching Experience:

I have been working and enjoying teaching Adults and children for 10 years. I am a qualified Spanish teacher from Brighton University, currently teaching Spanish in an Adult College at different levels, supporting Spanish GCSE in secondary school and teaching Spanish to young children at nurseries.

Tutoring Approach:

The teaching method I use vary according to the students needs and knowledge of the language, the main goal for students is usually to speak and communicate well with the Spanish speakers. In the lessons the four learning skills (listening, writing, reading, speaking) are implemented to develop student's confidence. Cultural aspects of Spanish speaker countries are part of learning a new language.

Personal Description:
I am currently working at the Transport Research Laboratory as a Researcher, having achieved my dream of becoming a Mechanical Engineer from the University of Surrey. I previously worked as a Manufacturing Engineer at Ford Motor Company. It has been an exciting time in the past 4 and a half years, in which I have become more innovative and gained a wide array of skills.

Main points to note about me are that I love to help and am enthusiastic about doing so. Teaching is something I thoroughly enjoy as it allows me to share the knowledge I have gained throughout my journey to entering and succeeding at what is now the 4th best university in the country. If you were to hire me, you can be assured that I will give my best effort in ensuring that my student not only improves/excels in his academic studies, but can acquire some insight or knowledge into what it would take to get into one of UK's best universities. Apart from this, I can provide career advice, opinions and assist in creating an excellent future for the student as I have had experience in interviewing, and undergoing the recruitment process, at massive multinational corporations and small companies alike.

Teaching Experience:

I have taught a number of students privately since October 2012 culminating in a role as a Teaching Assistant at Paddington Academy, alongside private tuition students. In this time, I have ensured my students had whatever they needed to excel in their studies. This includes support, flexibility, patience and proven teaching methods. This culminated in my students' grades showing improvement along with a greater understanding for the subjects I teach.

I also like to help my friends with understanding and grasping topics they do not understand and have done so in the past. No matter who I teach, I always ensure that they have a good understanding of the subject at hand and the ability to do well. Apart from this, I have worked as a student mentor which further improved my understanding of students from various backgrounds and enabled me to learn new approaches in communication. My success is shown by the positive feedback I have received from parents and students alike about the methods employed along with my general approach to lessons. Along with this, I have a history of improving the understanding and grades of the students under my tutelage.

Lastly, I ensure I provide a holistic view of education. As I have experience interviewing in massive corporate firms, undergoing their application process and have provided careers talks at my previous university, I am able to provide advice and recommendations alongside mentoring to help a student discover the method to achieving their dreams. I also provide them with the tools to do so. Simply put, I have assisted students in learning for the classroom and for the real world.

Tutoring Approach:

I take a friendly approach to tutoring. I try to establish a friendly relationship with the person I would teach. This, I feel, creates a nice atmosphere in which the student would enjoy to learn. I try to relate what I am teaching with practical and interesting examples. At the end of teaching a new topic, and whilst teaching too, I would assess the student to see where he/she stands. The key here is to ENSURE that the student understands what he/she is doing as this is essential to successful results. In order to achieve this, I employ a lot of patience and switch up teaching styles based on the student's needs.

As exams approach, I assess the student using past papers to ensure he/she has the best of chance of passing the exams with good results. Apart from this, I also assist the student by teaching him/her improved note taking techniques, summarising techniques and other useful information to enable the student to use this knowledge throughout his/her education such as A Levels, school, university, etc. I provide homeworks and help summarise notes into easily digestible briefs to refer to just before tests or exams. I am generally strict with marking the aforementioned exams/homeworks and pay attention to particular details as this helps my student in terms of achieving better marks. Passing is always a priority but in my opinion a pass is not enough. I would try to ensure my student gets good marks and not just a pass, i.e. an A, as it is my firm belief that with my help, this is possible for any student I teach.

I inspire my student to not only become better in their studies, but become the best version of him or herself so as to have the correct attitude and ability to achieve their dreams. I show them the big picture and paint an image of the success that awaits them through hard work.

One key point which sets me apart from all the other tutors is that I have first hand knowledge in what it takes to enter a good university along with career advice. This is due to the various number of companies I have previously interviewed it or undertaken the recruitment process for. I also ensure I provide dedication to the job and give everything I have to help improve my student's chances of success. All in all, I provide a holistic approach to my tutoring and ensure the student's needs always comes first.

Personal Description:
Hello, I am 21, live in Hull and have been playing the drums for around 5 years. I am currently studying Music Performance at university and have just finished my first year in Bristol. I have lots of experience playing live with various artists and bands. I play many styles and appreciate all music as an art. I mainly play pop, rock and metal but am well grounded in jazz, latin, reggae, drum and bass, blues, hip hop and funk.

Teaching Experience:

I have experience teaching; I started off doing it voluntarily to assist friends but the interest grew and I began getting more and more into it teaching from my home on my acoustic kit. I keep growing as a player and as a teacher.

Tutoring Approach:

I am very passionate about teaching as I believe a good player doesn't make a good teacher. I believe in breaking things down to the simplest level to give the student the best foundation possible. I teach everything from beginner to advanced, all in accordance to want the student wants mostly, then I will create an appropriate plan for he/she. Many students (myself included) have been left disappointed by the lack of passion shown by teachers in whatever subject, which is why I wanted to start teaching in the first place

Personal Description:
I am a friendly tutor who wants to share my knowledge and experience to everyone who wants to learn. Currently, I am in my second year of studying Maths at Trinity College Cambridge. Having just gone through A-Levels myself, I am well aware of the current syllabus and current tricks and tips to clearing the exams. I cleared my exams with the highest marks and managed to achieve perfect ums score in A-Level Maths. Hence, I am well aware of what examiners are looking for.

I am friendly, approachable and hope that my sessions will be very enjoyable. I will also make sure that you are being taught exactly what you want how you want it. Notes are also available.

Teaching Experience:

I have 1 year tutoring experience in Maths. I used to tutor maths in school for free at GCSE and As level. I also used to teach Physics to GCSE and As students.

I also have lots of volunteering experience in teaching other things such as piano and guitar.

Tutoring Approach:

I feel that tuition should be moulded to suit the person. Hence, I normally ask the students about what they want to discuss before the lesson. I also provide concise notes and worked examples which I can e-mail to students. They can then follow these notes and try to understand the content as I teach it to them. I also provide mock exams at the end of the sessions when the students feel that they are comfortable with the content they have learnt.

I put emphasis on understanding the principles behind the subject and not just on rote memorising in order to pass exams.

Personal Description:
I have been teaching English as a Foreign Language now for some time. I am a fully qualified TEFL teacher with a Merit result.

My students tell me that I am patient, kind and I give lessons on a 1:1 basis to help ensure a focused time is spent.

I have an MSc with Merit and BSc (Hons) degrees so I am fully aware of how studying can be challenging.

Another set of lessons I give are those of homework support, revision planning, exam preparation and assignment writing.

Teaching Experience:

I have been teaching for many many years and over the past year, I have been focussing especially on TEFL.

My students are mostly adults, some are already in work, some are medics (I am one myself) and some are new to this country.

As a practicing medic I am naturally CRB checked and I take safety very seriously.

Tutoring Approach:

My first approach is to listen to my students' needs and establish where their strong and weak points are.

I then create a lesson plan.

We arrange to meet either at my home or at my students' home - whichever is best.

Personal Description:
Im a German chemist and biochemist with many practical experiences in analytical as in applied chemistry. From 1990 to 2000 I led the first government accredited private laboratory for environmental chemistry in Leipzig, Eastern Germany. Later I was working as a consultant and surveyor for projects of microbiological soil remediation and drinking water treatment. Over 20 years I was active in R&D of technical processes and devices for water purification by new chemical and biochemical methods. This packed knowledge of theory and practise is the base of all my lessons I can give to my students. On different institutes I taught prospective physicians, pharmacy and chemical technicians for respective graduation. So I was also a private lecturer at the Biochemical Department of the Leipzig University and some different professional educational institutes for some while.
Science needs freedom of thinking and speech. Unfortunately the political development of Germany lead more and more to a totalitarian society. Thats why currently Im looking for a new homeland in Wales and give all my knowledge to open-minded and inquisitive students. By the way since 2009 Im the director of two british companies for selling natural remedies on the one hand and helping expats on the other hand.

Teaching Experience:

1981 - 1986 Medical Institute, Biochemical Department, University of Leipzig, Germany
1990 - 2005 Thesis Adviser for 5 graduants
since 2002 Private Lecturer on different professional education instituts for adult education (retraining, masters, technicians)

Tutoring Approach:

Every person is unique. Nobody is talentless. You can reach everything what you really want by individual training by adjusted learning tempo according to your understanding . I can help you with my whole experience and with my knowledge. I modernly think and I am an advocate of the lifelong learning. Carpe diem. If at first you don't succeed, try, try again.
