Personal Description:
I work as a Solicitor, working in a busy High-street Firm. I have been working for 10 years. I have been tutoring for the past 7 years and it is something I enjoy immensely.

I am able to obtain all exam papers and mark schemes, in order to help the students.

I am very patient with my students and can keep a calm temperament. I will assist my students in any way possible, in order for them to reach their maximum potential.

As a person, I am very approachable and like-able. This is also my approach as a tutor as I aim to make my students feel comfortable. All the students I have taught have provided me with positive feedback, as they have enjoyed sessions and feel they can relate to my style of teaching.

I am also able to provide sessions in order to assist with coursework deadlines etc and general English speaking and writing.

Teaching Experience:

I have been tutoring for 7 years, with a wide-range of students, from GSCE to Degree level. In addition to this, I have continued tutoring my younger brother, who has now completed his LLB and he further provides me with constructive feedback and the up-to date course material.

I have taught around 40 students, with varying abilities levels, although I have succeeded in helping them improve.

Tutoring Approach:

I take tutoring very seriously and approach each student on their own merits. I am recently qualified I'm my area for work, therefore my approach to teaching is relatively up-to date and contemporary. My recollection of School confirms that the classes in which I excelled, were the ones where the teacher would take an active-role in class. I have incorporated this into my teaching method. I have an individualised teaching approach and adapt my style to the student's needs.

If any students require one-off sessions, for help with coursework or exams, I am able to provide this.
With the exam period forthcoming, I have experience in going through exam techniques and revision methods.

Personal Description:
I am 35 years old and I have most recently completed the LPC at the University of Law. I have already completed a GDL (Graduate Diploma in Law) at the same university. I also have an undergraduate 2.1 with Honors degree in French and Italian at The University of Manchester. I have spent 6 months in Bologna in Italy, working in a private language school for those wished to learn either Italian or English. I worked as a copywriter for the school website, working in French, Italian and English. I also worked as a conversation tutor to those who wanted to learn English. I lived in Paris for 7 years where I worked at ELLE, the well known women's fashion magazine, where I used solely French as well as a stint at Kantar Health and the majority of my time at the International Chamber of Commerce in Paris. I am very down to earth and my biggest passion is football, I enjoy a good movie and love a good comedy. If you feel more comfortable meeting in a neutral place, a coffee place or in the town centre that is fine by me, I can be flexible. I have a clean criminal record and can boast a detention-less education!

Teaching Experience:

I now have teaching experience and I have shadowed those who have done this for a job. I have worked voluntarily in a school teaching beginner's Italian. Having already worked as a conversation tutor in a private school, I feel I would excel in giving private lessons, given the chance.

Tutoring Approach:

I feel every student works at their own pace, however it would not take me long to work out an approach which would realise the full potential of the tutee. I am patient and I can sympathise that learning a new language or topic can be frustrating. I've often found practicing certain exercises to be the most effective way to get over any tricky topic.

As well as preparing students for their exams, I am also confident as a head of subject in providing individual intervention strategies to supplement learning. I also have experience mentoring newly qualified teachers and students.

Tutoring Approach:

I consider myself an approachable teacher and am confident in tailoring the learning dependent on the tutees needs. As well as revising key concepts, I will also ensure students are confident in preparation for the exams by looking at analysis, evaluation and application techniques. Also, I feel it is imperative to spend time looking at exemplar answers and providing writing frameworks to best prepare the tutee for their exam.

Personal Description:
Hi,
My name is Liam, I have both courtroom experience and am a PhD candidate at Aberystwyth University.

In my degree, I worked at a charity called Veterans Legal Link where I gained much of my legal experience. While at this charity we focused on providing legal support to Veterans and their families on any topic that would arise. Through both this and working at solicitors firms since then I have gained experience in both the form filling side of the law and actual courtroom advocacy.

In my degree, I scored a 2:1 and in my Master's, I scored a Distinction. I have experience teaching and tutoring and genuinely enjoy the job.

Teaching Experience:

I actively lecture at my university in an assistant role and am the sole provider of Westlaw lectures at my university. (Westlaw being the database law students use at university)

I was the president of the local debating Union (past tense as we have a limited amount of terms), I have also been the captain of my debating teams back at A level. In both of these cases it is my responsibility to teach the members of the societies to learn to debate.

As a result of my teaching the debating union I am currently at has been Welsh National Champions 2 years in a row and was the opening team at the Oxford Inter Varsity tournament in 2018.

As well as this I also assist in seminars with other students currently on my course, I enjoy law, history and politics (all 3 attribute to my current degree) and as well as being able to help others it also valuable helps me complete my course, you remember things better if you teach someone else.

Tutoring Approach:

I often find the main issue people find is getting the information committed to memory, particularly with heavy subjects like law and history. (I'll deal with politics separately) And as such I generally do presentations which focus on getting the information you need, in this respect I always try to remind people that generally the information you'll need isn't over complex, only the analysis is which should always be treated as separate. Using this method when helping others I have seen that they almost always are able to better remember the important facts they need, whether they be facts, prime ministers or types of cheese.

The second element I split lessons into becomes a lot more relevant for politics. This is analysis, the criticisms made of other ideas. This is always where the real marks are and just like my previous answer I rest on the fact that people normally only ever find things difficult when they over complicate things for themselves. My focus on analysis is making it as simple as it always is and running people through slowly how you would make your approach on the analysis. I'll never tell them how to think about something but instead how they can articulate their own thoughts.

Personal Description:
I am a Dual-Qualfied Lawyer (New York, England and Wales), with a Double First Class degree in Law from the University of Cambridge and an LLM from Harvard Law School, which I attended through a Fulbright Scholarship. I have a real passion for teaching and am eager to help students succeed in their study of Law. I offer the following services:

LAW TUITION

Regular tuition for those looking for additional support throughout their course for students at all levels. Whether you are struggling to obtain the all-important 2.1, or are striving for a First, I can assist. I teach all core undergraduate modules and a wide range of optional modules at undergraduate and graduate level. I also offer more targeted exam-focussed revision sessions with a greater emphasis on practice questions and how best to prepare for assessments.

In addition, I provide a coursework review and feedback service whereby I provide detailed written comments on how to improve your work. This includes dissertations and longer-form assessments.

SQE TUITION

Tuition for the SQE1 professional qualification exams (FLK1 and FLK2). Having taken the exams myself (passing first time in the first quintile) I understand how demanding the revision process is, and how intellectually and physically taxing the exams can be, especially for those unfamiliar with closed-book multiple choice exams, all the more so for non-native English speakers. As well as teaching the substantive content you will need to pass, I can share useful hints and tips to facilitate your preparation, and to learn the art of mastering the unusual nature of the questions.

ADMISSIONS

General university admissions advice and assistance in the UK and the US, which includes the following: guidance on course and university selection; personal statement workshops; and LNAT preparation.

For those applying to Oxbridge, I can support you throughout the admissions process. This includes: guidance on college selection; assisting with supplementary requirements and portfolio preparation; and preparation for entrance exams and interviews, including full mock interview practice and feedback sessions.

If you are unsure if Law is right for you, I also offer taster sessions for younger students considering studying Law at university to give them some insight as to what to expect from the course to help you make the best decision for your future.

Unlike many tutors, this is my full-time profession and as such I can dedicate my full attention to my students throughout the academic year. I am a committed tutor, wholly invested in my students' progression and as such I am always willing to go the extra mile to help them succeed. I am very flexible with timings and will do my best to fit around your schedule.

Teaching Experience:

I have over 6 years' experience working as a Law Tutor and Admissions Consultant.

Beyond teaching, I spent 4 years practising English law at a top US law firm in London. Prior to that, I spent several years working across Africa for various international human rights NGOs including the Equal Education Law Centre and the Legal Resources Centre, both in South Africa, and Avocats Sans Frontieres, the Initiative for Social and Economic Rights and Human Rights Network, all in Uganda.

I previously worked for Oxbridge Applications as a Law Tutor, to assist Oxbridge candidates with their applications and interview preparation, and as a Mock Interviewer and Admissions Advisor on studying Law, particularly at Oxbridge.

I also worked as a Law teacher for students aged between 14 and 18 to prepare them to study Law at university, as well as having previous teaching experience in the Sciences.

Tutoring Approach:

The two core values that shape my teaching style are that classes are student-led and enjoyable. My students come from a diverse range of backgrounds, ages, nationalities, and abilities, and I am well-aware that every student learns differently. I therefore make every effort to develop an approach to suit the individual student's needs after discussing your goals and learning style with you. I also do my best to keep things fun and interesting to keep students engaged, as in my experience students tend to learn a lot more when they are enjoying the sessions.

I am a big believer in getting started on practice questions as soon as possible as I know that these can often be daunting for students. I find that talking through questions together early on helps to overcome these initial fears, and I have also devised additional resources and structures to share with you to help answer those tricky problem questions, which my students find invaluable.

Personal Description:
I am a university law lecturer with nine years' teaching experience offering undergraduate law, PgDL, LPC or SQE tuition in Essex. I have experience of teaching post-16 foundation-year students, first, second and third year undergraduate students, as well as LPC, PgDL and SQE students. Before moving into higher education I practised as a solicitor at firms in Essex and South Wales.

Teaching Experience:

I currently teach law at a university as a senior lecturer, but have also previously taught law at a post-16 college, so I have experience of teaching students aged from 16, up to mature students returning to education or making a career change. Before moving into teaching I practised as a solicitor.

Tutoring Approach:

I am relaxed and friendly and always ensure that students feel comfortable asking any questions that they have. I provide one hour or two hour tuition sessions for undergraduate law, or postgraduate professional law courses (LPC, SQE). My name is Elliot and I am an English tutor based in Central London. I have been tutoring since 2018 but my background is in Law. I have a Bachelor of Laws (2.1) from the University of Birmingham and a Master of Laws (LLM Human Rights Law) from the University of Nottingham (Distinction). In my spare time, I enjoy reading, running and writing. I have written for publications such as Reader`s Digest UK and am currently working on a collection of fictional short stories to be published late 2023. I enjoy entering my stories into short story competitions.

Teaching Experience:

I have been working as an English tutor since 2018. During this time I have taught hundreds of students and acquired thousands of teaching hours. I have taught students from three years old all the way up to adults. I have a significant amount of experience in teaching a range of abilities from complete beginners to proficient students. Personal Description:
Hello, I am Sankalp and I hold a Master's degree in Law. I also have a Bachelor's degree in Education and I pride myself in helping learners understand complex course material by breaking them into simple, easy-to-understand information. Working in the legal field has exposed me to numerous cases and claims that I use in teaching case analysis while allowing me to provide legal training to adults and health professionals. I am an easy going fellow and love to build a rapport with my students to create a conducive learning environment and ensure my students have a great time while learning. I pride myself in being a learning partner as I invest in my students' success so that they can achieve great academic success.

Teaching Experience:

I have been a tutor for 6 years and have worked with a diverse group of learners. I tutor individuals on legal case management to help them analyze and manage claims and cases and prepare inquests. I also teach English, with a focus on public speaking to help individuals gain more confidence and improve the English speaking skills, particularly ESL learners.

Tutoring Approach:

Given my extensive experience, I have an adaptable teaching approach that is student-centered. I move with my students' pace and let them guide what areas I should focus on based on their needs. When tutoring law, I provide cases for analyses and help students during the case analysis by supporting active discussion. For my English learners, I focus on building vocabulary and comprehension and encourage learners to speak by providing arbitrary topics of discussion. I provide resources and also help students prepare for examinations.

Personal Description:
Hi, I'm Aysha - a Law graduate with an LLB (Hons), a masters graduate, and a Trainee Sheriff Officer. My journey through Scots law has been both academic and hands-on, giving me a solid foundation in legal theory and a real-world understanding of how the law works in practice. I started tutoring because I know first-hand how challenging law can be-and how much of a difference the right support can make. During my studies, I often found myself helping classmates understand tricky concepts or structure their arguments more clearly, and I realised how much I enjoy breaking down complex ideas and helping others feel more confident in their abilities. I believe law should be accessible, not overwhelming. My goal is to create a supportive, engaging space where students can ask questions freely, develop their legal thinking, and build the skills they need to succeed-whether that's acing exams, writing stronger essays, or preparing for a future legal career. Teaching isn't just something I do alongside work and study-it's something I genuinely care about. I want to see students thrive, not just get by.

Teaching Experience:

I'm a Law graduate with an LLB (Hons) and a Master's degree in Law. Alongside my academic background, I currently work as a Trainee Sheriff Officer, giving me valuable insight into the practical workings of the Scottish legal system. What I Offer: • One-to-one tutoring tailored to your course and learning style • Clear explanations of complex legal principles • Guidance on legal writing, problem questions, and case analysis • Support with revision strategies and exam technique • Friendly, patient, and professional approach As someone who is actively working in the legal field while continuing my own studies, I understand the challenges law students face and bring both academic insight and practical experience to every session. My goal is to help you feel confident, capable, and ready to succeed in your legal journey.
