Step 2: Explain why it's done that way
Step 3: Get you to do it and explain back why you're doing it that way (And using the "Because you told me to" excuse doesn't work!)

I normally have worksheets with me that explain exactly what we're going do be doing, which has been used to great effect at the homeless shelter I taught at for nearly 12 months.

I've been teaching sine 1998 both overseas and more recently, back home in the UK. I spent six years living and working in Japan and Australia teaching a range of ages and abilities in private language schools, state schools and universities.

I think that finding out the student's motivation to learn English is very important and then trying to plan lessons and courses to suit thier interests and needs.

About Bikas:
I am a BA from Mumbai University. I also have studied computer science at a University level. Professionally I have been a Team leader in the ITES sector for the last four years, handling projects of Dell, America Online, CA and Earthlink besides others.

I usually assist about 25 students a year.

Teaching Experience:
I have been Guiding students of up to A levels for the last couple of years.
I was a secondary school teacher in Kathmandu for a year and have taught Biology, Maths, Physics, computers and Chemistry to GCSE level students. I have also helped A level students specifically with Computer science and Maths subjects.

Tutoring Approach:
I usually employ a standard approach to tutoring. I first evaluate the Student's potential before devising a teaching plan.
I need from my students a willingness to commit the required time and efforts and in return I will pass them all my skills and knowledge and ensure their academic success.
