Personal Description:
I am very patient in my approach and ensure that my students fully understand the topic.
It is vital to be a good listener as a tutor and to adapt your tutoring style and approach to the student, as everyone learns in different ways and what works for one may not work for another. Therefore my approach to teaching is to be flexible and to adapt my tutoring style according to what is best for each student.
Teaching Experience:
From my career history I showed that I have people skills, that I can work well with other people.
I taught Italian students aged between 12- 35 for one year while I was running my university degree.
I am Romanian mother tongue, I moved to Italy at the age of 19 to start university in Turin, and after I finished my BA in foreign languages German - English I moved to London. I was able to face many obstacles and manage to achieve my goals moving abroad (Italy, United Kingdom) .
Being a teacher means being a professional. My professional appearance will let the students know that I take the job seriously and that I am responsible.
Living in a new country United Kingdom, Italy, I am used to find myself in unexpected situations and to be flexible.
Tutoring Approach:
My approach varies depending on the student's needs and learning style.
I prefer focusing on exam-style or past paper questions in order to check, practice and perfect the student's understanding. Where appropriate I set and mark work, giving students detailed feedback so that they can improve quickly.
I use questions and homework to check understanding continually.
