Personal Description:
I am currently doing a PhD programme in politics and international relations at the university of Dundee but living in Aberdeen. I have vast knowledge in world politics. international relations and history and can fluently communicate in English language and teach same to non-English speaking students.
Teaching Experience:
I have tutored university undergraduate students since 2008 at both universities of Aberdeen and Dundee.
Tutoring Approach:
I use one-to-one approach in tutoring and challenge the students to engage in personal research by giving them assignments and grade their work. My tutoring is more of engaging discussion because it is assumed that the students would have got basic knowledge from class lectures. Where the students need more help in terms of more information, that is patiently done. I integrate motivation into my tutoring by way of telling the students that they can achieve much with more efforts and determination. However modification can be introduced according to individual need.
