Information About Alix:


Personal Description:

I am 29 years old and a graduate of Cambridge University. I also hold degrees from Oxford University and Royal Holloway College, London University. I spent a year studying at L'Universite de Paul Valery in Montpellier, France. I am married with a 3 year old son and have just moved to York from London this summer.



Teaching Experience:

I have been teaching English for six years from year 7 to 13. This year all my twenty students except one (who got a B) achieved A grades in their A-level examinations. I have also been an examiner for OCR at GCSE and was awarded an A grade for my marking.



Tutoring Approach:

My primary aim is to build a close bond with my students and to ensure that they enjoy their lessons. I set very high standards and focus on developing individuals' confidence and examination technique.
