Personal Description:
I am a friendly, approachable fully GTC registered Primary Teacher living in Strathaven. I am currently employed by North Lanarkshire Council as a Class Teacher.
Teaching Experience:
I graduated from Jordanhill (Strathclyde University) in 2006 with a PGDE(P) Primary Education with Merit in Teaching. I successfully completed my Probationary Year in an East Renfrewshire Primary School and have since worked in schools in various Local Authorities including East Ayrshire, North Lanarkshire, West Dunbartonshire and Glasgow which has given me a fantastic opportunity to develop my experience, knowledge and resources. I have experience in P2-7 stages of the Primary School.
Tutoring Approach:
I am fully committed to communicating learning targets to children in an interesting, interactive and fun way. I will create individualised lesson plans and resources to allow your child to learn according to their own specific needs. The one-to-one situation provides your child with the individual attention to help build confidence and motivation in the subject.
