Personal Description:
Hi, i am a Primary school teacher in the Northfield area of Aberdeen. I have been teaching for two years now and have experience teaching a wide range of primary-aged children. I graduated from Aberdeen University in 2004 with a BSC in Psychology and then went on to complete a Post Graduate Diploma in Primary Education. I have a very calm and friendly approach to teaching.
During the School holidays i am also available for tutoring weekday daytime.
Teaching Experience:
Primary teacher for two years.
Various placements during University degree.
Volunteer for 2 years at SEN School.
Tutoring Approach:
I am very flexible in my teaching methods which can easily be adapted to suit a wide range of styles of learning. I have a calm and friendly approach and will use the method that suits the learner best. I would usually start by finding out what the learner already knows and build on that. I am willing to help work through a text book or i am able to create individual lesson plans.
