Information About Ian:
Personal Description:
I am 58 years old with (I think) a good sense of humour. I have a wide range of hobbies and interests including music (I play and teach the recorder to a high standard), gardening and hillwalking. I am married with two grown up sons who are still living at home.
Teaching Experience:
I have been teaching for 37 years mainly in primary schools but with some secondary experience. I have taught adult swimming classes and worke with children over the entire primary age range.
Tutoring Approach:
I feel that a friendly relationship with pupils with pupils is essentail for learning regardless if it is on a one to one basis or teaching a class. I have always tried to aim my teaching at the individual needs of each child.
