Information About Andrea:
Personal Description:
I am a qualified primary teacher and I also have a law degree from Reading University 2:1 (hons).
I have a high standard of written and spoken English. I teach all subjects including English, maths and French to primary children up to year 6 (11yrs).
Teaching Experience:
I qualified in 2007, I teach all subjects and have taught all age groups from year 1 (5yrs) to year 6 (11 yrs).
I have been tutoring for five years and have helped tutees of varying levels, all of whom achieved level 4 or 5 in their SATs. I can also help with study for 11+ exams.
I am a marker for the English SAT/NCT tests.
I have also been involved in staff training in my previous career and find tutoring adults very rewarding.
Tutoring Approach:
I am patient, friendly and positive.
I believe it is better to take your time and get the answer right and keep getting it right for the rest of your life than rush over a subject.
I am always keen to have fun whilst learning too!
