Personal Description:
Hi, my name is Rachel and I am currently studying BSc(Hons) degree in mathematics at the university of Leeds. I have a keen interest in maths and I have always excelled and enjoyed it and I would love to help anyone of any level with mathematics. It would be great to have the chance to help as I know that a few years ago I have been in similar situations with studies and I feel I could be of great help.
Teaching Experience:
I am currently working with the university of leeds teaching children from ages 12-19 mathematics with a scheme trying to increase the numbers of maths graduates. This not only includes a god knowledge of maths but also involves fun activities and alternative learning methods.
Tutoring Approach:
I am very relaxed and depending on the student will determine the methods as I am well aware that different people learn differently. I have a range of textbooks to help and have many examples to a variety of subjects on hand as I am aware that with maths, one of the best ways to learn is by doing examples.
