Personal Description:
My name is Natalia Miralles. I am 28 years of age and am currently doing supply teaching around the Liverpool area.
Teaching Experience:
I am in my third year of teaching in Liverpool after qualifying as a Teacher in July 2006 from liverpool Hope University. I taught at a Primary School in Everton for 2 years, the first year as a year 3 Teacher and the second year as a Supply Teacher. the latter requiring me to teach all subjects from reception to year 6. I have also worked as part of the making good progress initiative which involved tutoring children for their SATs after School hours. I then worked in a primary support centre for half a term to help children overcome barriers to learning.
Tutoring Approach:
My approach to tutoring is working with children when they are best able to learn. This involves a mind friendly approach to learning, which aims to engage all thir senses. I feel children are best able to learn whent they are thoroughly involved and motivated in their studies. I try to ensure all tutoring senses use visual aids and hands on experience where necessary. If children do not respond well to the way I tutor, I am able to adapt it to suit their needs. All children learn in different ways and I feel its my job as a Teacher to discover it.
