Information About Anja:
Personal Description:
My name is Anja and I am an exchange student from Germany. I am friendly, hard working and patient. I study Sociology and Popular Culture and I am personally interested in reading, music and theatre.
Teaching Experience:
I have given Latin lessons for about three or four years and I have also done some lessons in Mathematics and French. I also have experience with teaching children, because I was an Au pair and did a practical training in a nursery school.
As my native language is German and I also chose my A Level in German, I am able to help with pronounciation, grammar and writing essays.
Besides, I have done some intercultural training so that I can make more sensitive for other cultures.
Tutoring Approach:
For children I can combine the lessons with playing games, singing songs, acting and drawing.
For adults I also stress conversation skills, grammar exercises, vocabulary quizzes, writing texts and cultural issues. I might also suggest some homework.
