Personal Description:
I am 27, female and a native Chinese speaker from Taiwan. I am a well-trained language tutor by World Chinese Language Association. I can provide courses for beginners or advanced levels (both in Traditional and Simplified Chinese). i am enthusiastic for teaching and providing my own supplements in order to help student reach learning objectives.
Teaching Experience:
I have taught Chinese at all levels both in Taiwan and the UK. I have worked with children and adults.
Tutoring Approach:
I provide a professional, yet friendly environment for my students. I work at the pace of my students and ensure each lesson is personalised and differentiated. I am a firm believer in providing my own materials and supplements that is fun, useful and motivational. I listen carefully to my students' needs to ensure the lessons are relevant and within their level of competence.
For beginners, I will help you build a solid knowledge of Chinese. You will acquire skills such as pronunciation, pinyin, characters, culture, daily simple conversations and practical communication skills using carefully organised materials.
For intermediate or advanced levels, I will help you strengthen and extend your vocabulary, grammar, reading, writing, and broaden your knowledge of colloquial expressions. I also welcome business Chinese (if you are planning to go to China, HK or Taiwan for business) as I studied International business at University. If you have a particular interest in Chinese Classics, I can cater for that too.
