Personal Description:

I am a Norwich based fully qualified teacher available to teach Spanish and Danish. I moved to Spain from Denmark with my parents when 8 years old. Since the local private English School was oversubscribed I was sent to a mainstream Spanish school. A shock to the system but I am so happy that this experience taught me Spanish with the right grammar, spelling and pronunciation. Something I could have not learned in the most accomplished language school. It was the real stuff with the real sun, beach, culture and food. 10 year later I moved back to Copenhagen/Denmark and 6 years down the line to England. In London I gained my degree and PGCE in order to become a fully qualified Teacher

Teaching Experience:

I am a fully qualified teacher with 10 years experience. I offer following:

SPANISH TUITION: Lived ten years in Spain and gone through the Spanish schooling system. As it was not my mother tongue I can relate to the challenges that come with learning a new language. Have taught from beginners to more advanced.

DANISH TUITION: I have had great success in using my ten years teaching experience to teach my mother tongue. Once again it can be at any level from beginners to advanced.

Tutoring Approach:

With my many years of teaching experience I have found that inspiration and discipline is key. A balance in between the two make a great student that will be able to take these skills to a professional level if they wish. Moreover, I believe everybody has got the ability to learn a language if they are willing put in the work. My approach is mainly based on conversation as I have found again and again that this will not only help the students vocabulary but their grammar as well. Last but not least I offer a friendly and relaxed teaching environment.

• Qualified to teach Danish and Spanish
