Personal Description:
I am an international student from Germany, so German is my first language, however I think I am pretty fluent in English as well. I did go thorugh 3 years of teacher training in Germany and consider myself skilled. I am friendly, and consider myself hard working. I think I have good communication skills and am inovative. I like tackling problems and solving them.
Teaching Experience:
I have been in the teacher training in Germany for 3 years.
An internship in a german primary school showed me how much I love teaching.
I was an Au Pair and used to teach my boys (6&8) German
I was a tutor throughout my school career in various subjects (German, literature, history)
I have a little brother :)
Tutoring Approach:
I usually do what the students needs. Communicational practice as well as set assignments, help with homework, learning new vocabulary or helping to advance translation skills.
I am always open to new learning and teaching methods.
I consider being a tutor also being a learner. Pupils and students can teach me things I did not know and open my view on the German language.
