I'm french. I've been living in England for 2 years.
I'm enthousiastic and patient. I would say that even if I am not a qualified teacher(I'm gonna prepare my PGCE next year) I do have more experience than other french people who live in London and give private lessons only because they are French...
Teaching Experience:
I have been working as a french language assistant for 2 years now, in Birmingham and in London. I am used to work withgroups or individuals. I've helped students to prepare their GCSE and their A level exams but I also have been working woth children and adults(beginners and intermediate level)
Tutoring Approach:
I know what it is to learn a language as I'm learning english and spanish so I can understand the difficulties a student can face.
I make a point of making my students feel at ease so that they are not ashamed of trying to communicate in another language. I always try to make things a bit more fun than they are though I know that nobody can escape the long and difficult acquisition of grammar...butcommunication is essential so I try to focus mainly on this point.
I'm also very flexible as I consider that teachers have to adapt to the students' personalities...my teaching vary according to who I teach.
