Information About Sarah:


Personal Description:

I am a 22 year old American veterinary student, studying at the University of Glasgow Veterinary School. I have a degree in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology and a degree in History.



Teaching Experience:

I worked as a tutor for university students while at university in the United States and for high school students during the summer holidays. I have experience tutoring in biology, chemistry, and math. Science and math are the same no matter what country you are from, so I feel comfortable working with students in those subjects here in the UK, although I received my education in the US.



Tutoring Approach:

I like to work with students one-on-one and be sure they understand the material. I enjoy helping them to work through material they may find confusing. I always want them to feel comfortable with me and to tell me if they don't understand something or don't understand how I am explaining it. I try to use my personal experiences and the challenges I have faced as a student to aid my students when they face their own academic challenges.
