Information About Maria Fernanda:
Personal Description:
I am a Native Spanish speaker,
and I am currently living in Exeter due to a Masters Degree course in Archaeology I started at the University.
I am a Colombian lawyer with a Masters in Labour law and some knowledge in Anthropology and Archaeology. I have been living in England for the last two years to improve my English language skills.
I am a reliable, responsible and punctual person with a strong sense of commitment. I have excellent communication skills, an open mind to learn new things and experience reading and analyzing different kinds of academic texts. I have had the opportunity of being a teacher assistant. That helped me to be more patient, active, ethical, and supportive.
Teaching Experience:
I have been a private Spanish teacher in London for the last months. I have worked with complete beginners as well as intermediate students.
When in my Country, I was an academic deputy instructor at the National University's Law Faculty.
I used to volunteer at the National Museum of Colombia in their education department before I became a general guide.
Tutoring Approach:
I can easily adapt my lesson to the students' requirements. It can be focused in grammar, using grammar tables and written exercises, or in pronunciation and vocabulary, those classes can be conversational. Or even a mixture of both.
I will provide you with all exercises you need and your progress will be checked frequently.
