Personal Description:
I am a 28 female teacher. I have graduated with a PGCE in German & French from the University of Oxford in 2005. I live in Ilford - and am looking to tutor in the evenings and/or on weekends in the surrounding area. All in all - I am a hard-working, reliable person who thrives on challenges, has a passion for teaching, loves the interaction with children and believes in all-round education.
Teaching Experience:
I have been teaching in a top-5 UK senior boarding school in Warwickshire as a MFL teacher. In London, I have been employed as a MFL teacher in a mixed comprehensive Language Specialist School. In my last post I was employed as a Senior Tutor, where I was responsible for the teaching of English to foreign students and the overall smooth running of the course. I also have extensive tutoring experience which included exam preparation, from 11+ to A-level.
Tutoring Approach:
As a member of a widely spread out family, I have acquired numerous cross-cultural skills and adaptability. I am well travelled and have lived in a variety of international locales, which has broadened my horizon and equipped me with a good sense of humour. When tutoring, I always make sure to assess the pupil's needs and tailor my lessons individually whilst taking into account the school's curriculum and exam requirements. I enjoy tutoring, which becomes apparent to my pupils in the style in which I deliver my lessons.
