Personal Description:

Hi I'm Katy. I have completed my honours degree in Applied Psychology with Sociology. I have been lecturing in a college for 3 years and teach a variety of subjects on A Level as well as BTEC programmes. I am also studying for a master's degree in London alongside my teaching which is in Business Psychology.



Teaching Experience:

I have been lecturing for 3 years, have achieved my PGCE (which is a post-graduate certificate in education). I have also home tutored GCSE pupils, A Level students and a student completing their degree.



Tutoring Approach:

I am an approachable person, I can provide up-to-date knowledge to my students and be flexible. I can offer:
Help with revision tips for exams (GCSEs, A-Levels, Foundation Degrees and Degrees)
Checking spelling and grammar for coursework/ essays
Examples of my own essays which are of distinction grades (equiv of 3 As at A level and 2.1 at degree level)
Help with Harvard and APA referencing
Clarifying and summing up of topics
Dissertation support
I am happy to tutor via e-mail
I am a passionate lecturer and I can do one off sessions or blocks of sessions
