Personal Description:

As an extremely creative person, my interests lie in painting, drawing, photography and languages. I also love to travel and have a wide cultural knowledge having travelled a lot in the countries of which I speak the language. I have a lot of experience in the area of education, having taught adults and children alike. Whether it's helping to pass an A-level or simply for the fun of learning something new, I will be very attentive to the needs of the pupil while making the learning as interactive and as entertaining as possible.

Teaching Experience:

I have taught English as a foreign language at the IES Meridian school of Tourism and Secretarial studies, Barcelona.
I have also taken workshops with the LINKS project based at Glasgow's Caledonian University where I encouraged and promoted higher education to high school pupils.
I have been a private languages tutor, teaching Business English in a marketing firm, CMT Espaa, Barcelona.
I have taught private one to one classes with individuals learning English, Spanish and French in Spain and in Glasgow, all classes to suit their needs: For specific exams or for oral improvement etc.

Tutoring Approach:

Firstly, since the needs for every pupil always vary, I believe in catering for the individual needs of the pupil whether it be simply to improve speaking skills in a language, or grammar or reading or all three or in shading skills, painting techniques or help with an Art portfolio. I am also very happy to negotiate prices and take into account students on a tight budget or single parented families etc. The price will also vary on what the pupil needs. As for my language skills, I can assure you that my speaking skills are to the highest of standards in the levels that I teach. I have lived abroad on many occasions and am fluent in all languages with excellent pronunciation.

Qualifications:

• 2004 - Presnt JOINT HONOURS BA DEGREE IN FRENCH AND HISPANIC STUDIES WITH ITALIAN AND CATALAN at the University of Glasgow, Scotland.
• Advanced Higher Art and Design grade A1, Taylor High School, New Stevenson
• Black and White photography courses at the Glasgow School of Art and various private drawing and painting classes on spare time.
• Intensive language courses in language schools in French (Nice) Spanish (Barcelona and Valencia) Catalan (Barcelona)
