Personal Description:

I am a law graduate from the university of Hertfordshire. I currently work for a legal agency within the criminal and family sectors appearing at both crown and county court.

I am an excellent motivator and wish to help others to achieve their full potential- whether it be progressively throughout the year or just guidance with revision.

I am able to help with Assignments and Essays as well as give guidance on examination technique. Help and guidance can be given towards legal research.

Subjects able to teach: Crime, Contract, Legal method and skills, Tort, European Law, Company Law (2006 Act), Employment Law, Medical law & Negligence, Equity and Trusts

Teaching Experience:

I have previously privately taught/ guided other student that were on my course in the 1st and 2nd years of their degree as well as A level students in my local area. This has all been done on a private basis.

Tutoring Approach:

I teach in a friendly, effective, and professional way on a one to one basis and in groups,To ensure your success, I provide an initial assessment of your needs and plan a course of study with you. All lessons are prepared and tailored to suit your individual needs, and you can have as many lessons as you wish.

I like to keep things simple and easy to understand as the law can be extremely confusing at times. I understand that learning takes time & I think it's important to allow tutees to take their time and to learn through asking questions. One of my motto's being if you do not understand: Ask...


Everyone is different; some tutees prefer to learn through reading whilst others like to practice answering exam questions, some of my tutees prefer to draw mind maps to aid their memory. In any case, I am able to adapt confidently to any approach that my tutee(s) prefer(s).

I am also willing to mark any exam questions that have been written out by the student to further their development.

Qualifications:

• AS/A level law
• LLB Law Degree: 2:1 obtained
