Personal Description:

I am part Austrian and have spent time in Austria and Germany perfecting my German to a very high level. I have a degree in Drama and have also compleed my German education up to first year degree level. I have also done lengthy language courses in Vienna and Germany to perfect my language to then teach to others. I am very passionate about German and pass that passion on to my students from which they can benefit as it provides interesting classes in which they can progress as far as they want to with their language needs.

Teaching Experience:

I am currently teaching German for an agency. I also teach privately. I have been teaching for just over a year now and my students all find my teaching very rewarding and beneficial to their language needs. I have also taught Austrian children English as a foreign language.

Tutoring Approach:

I teach using various materials such as DVDs, CDs and course books appropriate to the level of the student. I put a high emphasis on speaking so even the beginner will be speaking from day one! I also teach the other important aspects of the language such as grammar, reading, writing and listening. I sructure my lessons to include text study, conversational role plays, listening exercises, written exercises and grammar sessions.

Qualifications:

• Zertificat Deutsch (Vienna language Academy)
• Scholarship course at the University of Freiburg, Germany
• Degree in Drama (2:1) including one year of German
• A-Level and GCSE German (A grades in both)
