Personal Description:

Maths degree achieved at age 15. A-level grades of AAA in Maths, Biology, and Chemistry. MBBS qualified in 2000 and Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons in 2003. Masters in Science from Imperial College in 2006. I have examined at various levels from BSc to MBBS and higher. I also sit on the admissions and interview panel to medical schools within London. I have authored several best-selling textbooks for undergraduates and post-graduates in medicine and surgery.



Teaching Experience:

Over 15 years of professional private teaching experience from primary school to post-graduate medicine/surgery. Highest rated teacher by student feedback from both medical schools and private tutoring corporations (references available on request).



Tutoring Approach:

Mathematics and Medicine/Biology are my strongest subjects and I take a very simple and straightforward approach to teaching the basic principles. These are equally applied to the more advanced topics.

The general approach is to deliver the key concepts in such a manner that students can naturally work out key formulae or concepts rather than having to extensively memorise them. After the taught concepts are mastered, great care is taken to ensure that answered are arrived at without carelessness and with good timing to ensure confidence and comfort whilst taking an exam.
