Personal Description:

I am a married 51 year old male with two sons (18 and 13 years old). I have worked in banks for more than 20 years in credit, audit and business development areas. I am a voracious reader and regularly review quality newspapers, magazines and periodicals on current affairs, finance and business.

I have an "MBA" degree and "Certified Internal Auditor" Certification from USA. These qualifications intensely cover accounting, economics, statistics, auditing and other business related subjects at fairly advance levels.

I have always enjoyed giving tuition as it keeps me in touch with the subject and I develop myself more.

Teaching Experience:

- On and off I have given private tuitions to college and university level students and to bankers in accounting, banking, economics and other business related subjects

- During my banking career, I have regularly coached trainees and new entrants.

Tutoring Approach:

Following is my approach:
- Find out from the student, the level of understanding he/she has of the subject. This I do by questionioning on the subject, feedback, and a basic test.
- On the basis of above, I decide the level to start teaching: if the concepts and basics are not clear than I start in developing a strong footing on the basics.
- I ensure that the fear of the subject is removed and learning becomes a pleasant experience and an interesting challenge.
- I split the subject according to time at hand so that the student can easily follow progress and be comfortable of full understanding and preparation before exams.
- I give "surprise quiz" and "mock exams" to ensure that the student is following.
