Personal Description:

Hi, I'm currently a post graduate student at the University of Sunderland on a maths course and will be beginning my PGCE Mathematics in September to eventually become a secondary school maths teacher.

Teaching Experience:

I have previously tutored at GCSE and at A-Level in the subjects that I did at school as well as some teaching of first year university students in my degree subject of Philosophy.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe simple and clear explanations that follow logically are the best way for a student to understand and remember. Also I will be as patiently and friendly as possible because a student need to be motivated and feel relaxed while they're learning to be at their best. Lastly I also believe face to face contact is the best way to teach and learn, therefore I will not tutor online.

Qualifications:

• 2.1 Honours in BA Philosophy
• Maths part of current course
• A-Level - Economics, Psychology, Maths
