Personal Description:

Hello my name is Gemma Rowlands and I am student studying psychology at Teesside University. I have always been interested in tutoring and have often helped out friends and their children with studying. I can offer help for a wide variety of subjects and my rates can be flexible depending on levels needed and the situation. If you are interested in tutoring in anything not shown do not hesitate to contact me I will most likely be able to help!



Teaching Experience:

I have volunteered at the local disabled primary school, worked as a weekend art class teacher for young children, volunteered help at the local junior school, tutored a few people and completed a course on teaching children.



Tutoring Approach:

I believe the best way to tutor a child is how the parent sees fit. I can offer help with homework and coursework. I believe a hands on approach to learning is always a good way and think that the use of props can having an amazing influence.

Qualifications:

  • GCSEs at high levels in English, Maths, Science, RE, German, Business and Communication Studies, Music and Spanish
  • A-levels at high levels in Psychology, Sociology, English, ICT and History
  • Currently studying psycholgy at degree level
  • two years of piano, drum kit and bass guitar classes
