Personal Description:
I am a person who enjoys meeting and interacting with people, and have particular experience with children. My love for Theatre and Drama has developed me into an articulate and expressive individual with good communication skills, and I continue to be a part of various theatrical activities at Durham University.
I consider myself culturally sensitive, and find beauty in the diversity different locations have to offer. I feel I am able to adapt to new surroundings and challenging situations very well, having lived in many different parts of the world. Consecutively, cooking is another interest of mine, and I take delight in experimenting with cuisine from different countries. I am an ardent traveller, and have predominantly enjoyed visiting a variety of resorts in India, Switzerland, Italy, Oman, and historic spots of London and Paris.
Teaching Experience:
I have attended a fortnightly reading session with Year 3 students at my old school, as well as having done volunteer work with a junior school for their Sports' Day. I have also been a guide for 11-year old dyslexics during their time spent at our school for scholarship examinations.
