Personal Description:
Since I'm also a secondary teacher I know the needs of the students and exactly what is expected of them in the exams. I believe because I'm still young I have the ability to connect with the students on a more personal level and gain their trust. I'm an easy going person and have tons of patience.
I am friendly but also believe in hard work to succeed.
Teaching Experience:
I have practical teaching experience in South Africa and have been teaching in the U.k now for 2 years - at Birnamwood and New Tunmarsh centre and also supply work all over london.
Tutoring Approach:
I believe tutoring is the extra help a student needs to either move up a level or grade or to pass. A tutor shouldn't be seen as a teacher or tutoring as school but rather the tutor and student working together to improve the student's grades. I'm there to clarify some grey concepts to the students and also help the students with concepts they struggle with and explain what they do not understand.
I believe in "pratise makes perfect" and this is also my approach to tutoring.

- my PGCE. I'm a maths specialist and my
