Personal Description:
I am a native German speaker and have lived and worked in the UK for 26 years. I am highly motivated and hard working with good communication and organisational skills. I am I believe I can motivate people well and enthuse them for learning German. I build rapport quickly and am reliable and versatile.
Teaching Experience:
I have over 23 years of teaching experience and have been Head of International Studies and Modern Foreign Languages for some time. I have been teaching German to A-level and and have also experience of teaching adults in a Further Education Institution. I have been part of the teaching team at Bristol University Widening Participation Programme and have worked with young Gifted and Talented Students.
Tutoring Approach:
I enjoy teaching and working with people who are keen to learn and study. I am an excellent ambassador for Germany/Austria and am able to deliver a scheme of work well. I am good at recognising peoples' learning styles and I always adapt my teaching to their preferred learning. I am adaptable and have good understanding of National Curriculum levels as well as Business German. I have an exemplary record of teaching and all my lessons have been deemed to be good/outstanding following OFSTED criteria.
