Personal Description:
I am dedicated, Enthusiastic, flexible and friendly, able to work with all kinds of people, regardless of their background.
I enjoy socialising with friends and also spending quality time with my family. AS a parent myself, I have good knowledge and experience of working with different types of children and parents.
Teaching Experience:
I have obtained a PGCE teaching degree with Qualified Teacher Status from Leeds University.
Currently, I am a full time mathematics teacher at Calder High School in Halifiax teaching 11 - 18 year olds.
I also provide after school revision sessions for GCSE pupils to catch up and also for years 8 and 9 pupils who maybe struggling in class.
Prior to that, I taught at Calderdale College in Halifax, Mathematics and ICT
Tutoring Approach:
I am happy to travel to tutees home and teach. I have a wide range of teaching resources and strategies to help pupils learn better and to reach their full potential. I also have good experience assessing pupils' understanding and to develop a strategy to move learning forward.
